Using a Recruitment Software in PA Job Search
Using a software program can dramatically help with a job search. Good programs do the searching for you, allowing you to focus on other aspects of applying for jobs.
Before we had computerized job boards, we combed through the classifieds section in the newspaper. These days some websites allow us to type in search terms, and it gives us an answer. Even better, with artificial intelligence, we can create a profile and enter search terms, and the program will continually search for jobs for us and send us any matches.

Websites like ZipRecruiter allow you to get notifications when new jobs are posted directly to the palm of your hand, letting you get ahead of the rest of the game and submit your application early.
ZipRecruiter is not a staffing firm that provides services to job seekers. It is an online job board platform for employers to post their jobs and collect candidates using recruitment software. As a Job Seeker, you can create a free job seeker profile, upload your resume and search for/apply to jobs in your field quickly and easily. ZipRecruiter is not involved in the hiring process and has no influence or knowledge of that process beyond your application.
Unlike other websites, which are more like a classifieds section in a newspaper, ZipRecruiter uses its recruiting software to syndicate posted jobs to other sites. This would be like posting a position in the local newspaper and having them send it to other newspapers, allowing employers to go to one place to get their jobs posted all over.
It also functions as a job search engine for job seekers. When we search on google, the internet is explored, and we get results based on relevance. ZipRecruiter does that same thing but limits its search to job postings, so when we type something in, we will get results from job postings all over.
These days there are a variety of options for job seekers. Sometimes the best place to look depends on where employers are posting their openings. If you know employers in your area are using a specific service, then you’ll want to use that service. It doesn’t hurt to have multiple accounts, as most of these services are free to job seekers; however, some charge a price to employers for posting a job, dissuading them from using certain services.
