PA Week 2020, October 6-12
PA week is a great time to recognize PAs and celebrate all they do, but it is also a time to advocate for the profession. If you’re a PA, you can use this week to help educate family members, friends, and patients on what you do as a PA. You do not need to have an elaborate plan to shine a light on the profession. A simple share on social media can help. Both the AAPA and NCCPA have websites with resources that you can use.
The AAPA has different things going on each day of PA week. Be sure to check in so that you can be involved with the PA week events: https://www.aapa.org/events/pa-week/
The NCCPA recently launched www.pasdothat.net, as a resource to help educate the general population on what a PA is and what they can do.
