Physician Assistant #7 for Highest Paying Jobs

A new report from Glassdoor has Physician Assistant at #7 for highest paying jobs in America. According to the report, median base salary for PAs is $108,761 with 8,616 job openings. PA slightly edged out NP base salary at $106,962.

Of all the jobs on the list NP and PA came in the top spots for the most job openings, showing that there is plenty of demand for these careers. Overall, tech and health care dominated the top of the list.

The PA salary listed in this article is higher than other 2018 PA salary reports; however the other salary reports are based on salaries from 2017, if the reported salary from Glassdoor is from 2018 data that might account for the higher salary.
