PA-Cents Highlighting PA Bloggers for PA Week 2019
PA week is three months away, and it can often take time to plan an appropriate event. If the organization you work for does not do anything specific for PA week, now would be a great time to start planning something or talking to your leaders on an appropriate way to recognize the PA career. There are a number of ways to do this, from written articles to special events.
Every year we celebrate PA week in October. In the past I’ve done something off the typical topic of PA-Cents. Last year I highlighted some PAs who have started side gigs outside of clinical work, some of which have turned into full time careers.

This year I’d like to highlight PAs who blog. Blogging can be discouraging at times as you spend a lot of time working on it, and it often feels like no one is reading. However, no matter how many people read what you write, if you’re helping one person, it makes it worth it.
We can learn a lot from other’s experiences, so if you’re a PA blogger and are interested in being highlighted please contact me. PA-Cents followers would love to hear what you blog about, who your target audience is, why you blog and anything else you’d like to share.
Are you a PA that blogs? Please comment below if you’re interested in being featured, sign up to receive future posts by email and share with your friends!
