According to a survey done by credible.com, 50% of millennials would give up their right to vote in the next two presidential campaigns to have their student debt forgiven. Only 13.2% would give up texting and any mobile messaging for the next year; and 8.2% of respondents said they would not choose to give up any of the options and instead continue paying on their student loans.

I know for myself student debt from PA school is a huge weight on me. It has definitely affected my financial decisions and will continue to have a role in my decision-making in the future.

As the Great Depression affected our grandparents (great-grandparents) generation so will student debt affect this one. I personally am with the group that would not mind at all giving up my right to vote in the next election in exchange for forgiveness of my loans.
